Langston Family Blog Kick Off

With the anticipated flurry of activity going on in 2006 we thought we would try something new and create our own Langston family Blog.

For those of you new to blogs, a Blog is short for weblog. A weblog is a journal (or newsletter) that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. Blogs generally represent the personality of the author or the Web site. In our case it is a fun and interactive way to keep our family and friends up-to-date with what's going on with the Langston fam. In particular, we can keep everyone up-to-date this month with all the details with what's going on with Collin's first VEPTR surgery and hospital stay.

We'll try to post daily this month, especially during Collin's hospital stay, so come back often. Your posted comments and questions are welcome and is what makes a blog fun.

Happy New Year!

-Chris

I am praying that God will see Collin through this surgery, and that Collin's good spirit will continue throughout these difficult times. I also pray that God gives Chris and Sarah the strength and positive attitude they need to be an encouragement to little Collin. God is good...all the time!

P.S. Collin's little Santa Claus picture makes me smile when I need a lift.

    Love,

    Ryan

    Sarah and Chris,
The Torians wish you all the best. We will be praying for Collin. We know he is a strong little guy who has blessed you all and will continue to be a blessing. Thank you for inviting us to be apart of your family, you guys are apart of our family.

Keep the faith, and your strength.

Sarah, hopefully I will see you soon.

Mia, Van and the 4 J's.

Thanks so much for creating this. It will be a wonderful tool and distraction for you (and all of us) having a living log of your journey and being able to refer back from time to time and see how far you have all traveled.

My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you ... especially "the boy" during this time as Collin goes through and recovers from his first surgery.

Call me if you need ANYTHING!

    Cathy

    Chris, Sarah & Collin,

We are so inspired by how strong each of you are! Having three healthy children of our own, it's so hard for us to understand what it would be like to deal with something such as this. We are so happy that he is doing so well! I will be following this blog on a daily basis to see his progress! Just know you are in our prayers and thoughts daily! Also know that there are no better parents than the ones that you have become!! God Bless You All,

    Your cousin,

Kara, Donnie, Josh, Colton & Allison
