We're Home!
Holy moly, batman. Tuesday night was a long night and I was just too tired to post an update. I woke up Wednesday morning with a call that we were going home, "Today!".
Well, we are home now! Two days ahead of what were we planning! Collin was recovering so well that they “kicked us out” of the hospital. We scrambled and got home around eight Wednesday night with the van loaded to the brim. Thankfully, Nurse Rhonda showed up around 10p to help us get settled back in.
Collin managed the car ride well. He has some serious pain medicine that we expect him needing for a week or so. Before we left they changed his dressing and while he has two incisions instead of one, they both look pretty good. We get to remove his bandages next Wednesday and he’ll get to have a real bath. Needless to say, we will be taking it easy through the weekend.
Thank you so much for your continued thoughts and prayers for Collin -- your faith is a proven contribution to his quick recoveries.

AfterHere are some of the before and after X-rays if you are interested. Notice the significant expansion they were able to get on the left side. Wow!

I can't believe y'all got to go home on Wednesday. That is fantastic. He is doing so well! A pure testament to his parentS, medical staff and to the man upstairs. I am so glad I got to come and visit on Tuesday night. I was so impressed with the personality he has. What a smart boy too! ... shaking his head yes and no .. and that personality! Will look forward to the progress...
